Conflicts
Conflict-of-interest policy.
Resar publishes evidence rankings shoppers can inspect. This policy explains how we prevent commercial incentives from bending those rankings.

Our principle
Revenue must never be invisible. Affiliate commissions, future sponsorships, and brand relationships are disclosed — and they do not determine evidence scores.
Affiliate revenue
- Commission rate, retailer participation, or link availability must not change Evidence, Safety, Effectiveness, Research Confidence, or Product Fit scores.
- Products without affiliate programs receive the same scoring pipeline as products with commissions.
- Operators must not select research sources or suppress citations based on affiliate status.
User-submitted products
Shoppers can request Amazon products for evidence review. Requests enter a private pipeline until admin publication approval.
Submitters cannot pay for publication. Admins evaluate research quality, category fit, and listing standards — not affiliate potential alone.
Human review and overrides
- Admins may add override notes when AI scoring misses context or when safety requires extra caution.
- Overrides must be logged with timestamps and visible audit context where applicable.
- Overrides are for accuracy and safety — not to favor brands, retailers, or submitters.
Shopper reviews vs. research
User reviews and Amazon star metadata are moderated separately. They do not directly set clinical evidence scores.
Brands cannot purchase removal of cited studies or negative safety context.
Brand and operator relationships
If an operator holds financial interest in a listed brand, that relationship should be disclosed on the product record and escalated for independent review.
Brand partnership inquiries are handled outside the scoring pipeline. See For brands for submission standards.
Sponsored content (future)
Sponsored modules, if introduced, will use distinct visual treatment, placement labels, and reporting. They will not be mixed into organic evidence rankings without clear sponsorship disclosure.
